Hi Ilias,

Technically we are not far from customization, as you may have noticed all the bitmaps can be edited by the Fitaly users. What users can't currently edit is the keys that will be produced when tapping the bitmaps.

If instead of having the characters currently produced by the main letter panel for instance ("zvchwkfitaly ne gdorsbqjumpx") hardcoded in the Fitaly executable, we would read this string from a registry key or ascii file, it would already open the door to customization.

How do you imagine the customization?
It could be a way to replace the main letter panel.
I suppose the ability to redefine one panel should be sufficient.

One possible avenue would also be to use some key to have the custom panel raised.

Have you produced a bitmap with the greek characters?
How would you imagine the customization, from what I understood, you need to be able to switch easily from greek to english.

But please don't misunderstand me. For now we don't plan to offer dialogs for customizing the keyboard or dialogs from which users could pick up some international layouts. But we could envisage as a first step to open the door so that skilled users could do some customization on their own.

Emmanuel.
