MultiSlide vs Glossary - What a surprise!
I used my glossary upwards of fifty times every day for the past - how many years? I was apprehensive about giving it up.
Well I've had one day to try out the new MultiSlide - my word for a multiple choice slide. I am delighted!
So far I've manually put a number of my terms and names onto letters. So many advantages: no space needed before accessing an expansion, a real time saver; I can see all the options attached to a letter at one time, not limited to two advisory lines; I only have to select the first letter to choose any associated expansion, not two or three letters to get to my choice as before. It also just looks cool. I've shown it to coworkers, and they are impressed. They never seemed too excited by advisory lines.
The glossary, of course, I could view in its entirety and edit entries. I have not yet begun to work with CustomSlides.txt, but I will. I have my F3.5 glossary on an SD card, and I'll copy it onto my PC to view and work with it. It is too late for me to save it using F3.5. I've got my hands on F4 and I'm not going back!
