Inconsistent caps sliding
I'm experiencing inconsistent behavior with slides. I have no custom slides, and I believe I have my preferences set so that even if I did I wouldn't be using them (use slides for caps only, short and long slides "a form", if this latter makes a difference with "caps only"). I also have "keys sent at pen up" to satisfy certain apps I use, though this setting doesn't appear to make a difference to the problem. Slide lengths at the defaults of 8 & 20.
To reproduce this: beginning with pen down in the middle of 'k', slide left to the middle of 'h'. Sometimes I get lowercase, sometimes upper. Same for other letters.
Even the inconsistency is inconsistent: just before writing this, I got the inconsistent behavior. At this moment, I get consistently correct behavior. I've noticed this before - sometimes it works correctly for a stretch, but then it will go back to the inconsistency. It's possible the inconsistency comes back after a power off.
