What Fitaly Users Are Saying...

Fitaly has replaced paper and pen for me

I'm using Fitaly nearly every day at work where I use it to write down notes about the cases I'm working on. It has replaced paper and pen for me now. (Using Graffiti or the Qwerty keyboard was too tedious for me to use my pilot for this work.) With Fitaly I can really see what I am typing and I can use the shortcuts while using the keyboard.

What is needed to be comfortable with Fitaly is that you practice it a few days. After some days of use you're getting quicker and you don't need to search anymore where the letters, numbers, etc. are but you just tap them.

As you can see from my mail address, I'm German. I don't have any trouble with using Fitaly the way it is now. At first I thought it would be hard because the umlaut-panel needed more taps, but I learned that I don't really need that many umlauts or other funny keys.

Most of the time I'm using the letter or number panel or their shifted versions. Using any other key slows me down a little but I had much more trouble with Graffiti or Qwerty. All the other keys are within reach of a few taps and I can really use all available characters provided by the OS.

All in all Fitaly was just the keyboard I was looking for. I was thinking about getting a Newton keyboard for text-entry but I didn't like to carry it around with me.
