I am always taking quite lengthy notes, and when I first purchased a Pilot (about a year ago), I saw it having great potential. [...] The Fitaly keyboard is starting to do what I really needed in a Pilot like device.

Writing action items at a meeting

This [Fitaly/Gaffiti] combination allowed me to keep up with action items at a meeting the other day, whereas before my boss was always waiting for me to write stuff down via Graffiti by itself. |

Fitaly has replaced paper and pen for me

I'm using Fitaly nearly every day at work where I use it to write down notes about the cases I'm working on. It has replaced paper and pen for me now. (Using Graffiti or the Qwerty keyboard was too tedious for me to use my pilot for this work.)

The way it fits in applications

Fitaly automatically recognizes when the cursor is in a text-entry field, and it pops up automatically (somewhere else on the screen). As a result, it is practical to use it even for entering little bits of text in fields. In situations where you couldn't enter text anyway, it automatically disappears, leaving the full screen in view.

Now I have used the Fitaly and have grown accustomed to being able to move the keyboard around when needed. This comes in really handy when entering data into areas such as the Datebook or the Phonebook.

The way Fitaly moves around is great

I just wanted to say I think the way Fitaly moves around is great. [...] I don't like the way the built-in keyboard puts a little frame around a few lines of text.

I find that a combo of Fitaly (when I am in a large-number-of-words entry mode) and Grafitti (for short notes, numbers, and when I can't look at the screen) works out pretty well.
