In my initial experience with slides (with various words, not the simple sequences I use now), I felt that using slides actually slowed down my overall speed. I never had a way to comfirm that, and Fitaly Letris seems like a "close enough" way to find out if the slides actually slow me down, or speed me up, as intended.
Now, all of my NW slides are the letter followed by 'a', all W slides are the letter followed by 'e', all SW slides are the letter followed by 'i', all S slides are the letter followed by 'o', all SE slides are the letter followed by 'u', and all E slides are the letter followed by a space.
I don't know how Fitaly works internally, but would have thought it uses the normal input recognizer, since you can use Fitaly Letris with other input types, like Keyboard, Letter Recognizer, Block Recognizer, Transcriber, or even Tengo (Free).
I'm not asking for the world from a free program, or asking why it doesn't have a feature I'd like. I'm just saying that it would be nice if it recognized slides, and I think it's a reasonable request. If there's no funding for enhancements, that would be a reasonable answer.
