Since version 3.5, the Fitaly bitmaps are stored on your device in a folder called Fitaly bitmaps, so it is possible to skin your Fitaly keyboard as long as you don't change the key sizes.
We plan to offer alternate skins in a near future.
I attach a picture of a blue Fitaly that we are currently designing.
Our plan is to offer alternate installers for alternate skins.
Fitaly has a lot of panels and hence a lot of bitmaps (31 by size), so we don't want to install several sets by default on our customers devices as storage is still an issue on these small devices.
Concerning the finger keyboard, we released one for the latest Tablet PC version, you are right that we should maybe release one for the Pocket PC too. What would be a reasonable size? I guess 640x210 could be an interesting size. I am not sure though that the keys would then be sufficiently large for finger typing.
