Tiny keyboard layout suggestion
I think I found a use for future use button (looks like an upwards facing fish to me, no idea what it really is).
The idea is to use it to switch between the fitaly layout to one that is designed to take less space. Even on my 280 x 320 screen there is room for 28 buttons by using only 2 rows. That leaves room for 26 letters and that fish button to switch between layouts. The remaining one probably for the abc/123 button. With Fitaly’s sliding feature that should suffice and perhaps all buttons could be set as half cells with two functions each.
The reason I ask, though I know this layout would be slower, is sometimes the keyboard actually covers up the sought after dialog box so being (much) shorter should solve that problem. Giving more screen real-estate to programs is sometimes necessary because not all programs behave properly, but sometimes it may just be preferred over speed. I know the layout wouldn’t be ideal but it would be great as an alternate in special situations.
