FITALY works best when you stare at the keys. I've used it for almost 9 years now on various devices and have yet to memorize the layout. Oddly, I know generally where the odd keys are like W, Q, C.
But I cannot tell you the key layout other than the home row: FITALY.
I can routinely type 50+ WPM and enjoy the complete, puncuated sentences I get out (unlike the acronyms thumb typers yield).
I've use Palm, 2 version of Pocket PC and Ultra-Mobile PC (which can use finger) for a total of 8 years. I type fastest with stylus on an older Pocket PC version with a soft plastic screen cover.
I also saw the movie below and jotted down (with FITALY) the layout of the keyboard -- the 3 rows confrom to FITALY's 3 concentric rings. e.g., FITALY doc says the inner 3-4 key area can type 85% of words.
