You will have the expansion pretty soon. :-)
It will be a little bit different from what you had in Fitaly 3.50.
The expansions will appear in a pop-up window similar to the one where the slides appear. Morevover, the macros that are available in slides will be available in expansions. It will be possible to define a display form for an expansion different from the text to be expanded.
For example, you will be able to specify that you want to see Textware's address in the preview window, but when you expand you will get:
