Short wish list (menus, word delete)

I'd like to see the menus appear on slides like the Tablet version.
I know the screen is much smaller, so some limit to menu items and visual size. Even just one function (e.g., copy, paste, top of document, etc.) per key would be useful.

I really like the Ctrl+Backspace sequence and found that it works on my old HP Jornada (from 2001). I use it all the time on Windows desktop. Really speed up correcting mistakes.

On Pocket PC, I have to tap Ctrl and then Backspace to get this.

I saw the discussion about problems with implementing a timer to support auto-repeat. But some kind of auto-repeat would be a nice feature. A timer would also help do things like make the shift states reset.

A final feature is to make all shift states reset after a (short, configurable) period of time. The locked shift state could be engaged by tapping and holding the shifting key longer.

Shift states also include the puncutation states at the lower right.

Auto-repeat wish also applies to Tablet PC version.
