The space is indeed the most frequent key typed. That is why the space key is the largest key on the regular keyboard, and that is why Jean chose to give Fitaly more "real estate" for it than for other keys -:)
It was during the Dom Perignon contest that I discovered the importance of the space key. To gain speed you absolutely had to tap the space after each word as if it were part of the word. So I understand that you definitely want to add the space when you add a word to your slide list.
Then, when I saw a post here about how the slides are stored in a file, it was just a matter of getting in there and putting in the entries. For the first pass, because there were so many entries to put in, I exported it to the PC and worked with it there.
The CustomSlides.txt file is, indeed, just a starting point. You are right, the best way is to edit in on your PC and customize it to your liking.
