I think the point is not that we can't expect fitaly to handle this... it already does. There is nothing to be changed in fitaly to handle the extra glyphs that are contained in the full font. If Tahoma were fuller fitaly would display them.

We're just trying to point out that by allowing fitaly to use a different font, it would display all glyphs. That's all that's needed. I still use it and still use it to type with strange glyphs from pinyin and Esperanto etc. It's just that if fitaly could use a font other than the system font it would be much more convenient. On the other hand, if it's a monumental task to achieve that... then just say so... I'm just trying to point out something that would be an improvement for a future version. Current functionality already works as I can already use fitaly for whatever language I need it for. I'm just politely hoping that in a future version of fitaly, it would allow for using a different font to display the bubble...
