Trouble defining slides othe than North

This is what’s happening to me when I want to add a West slide for example:

1 – I select “+”
2 – I select “Define Letter”
3 – I enter “e” in the Set Letter field
4 – I select “Add”

At this point the default direction is “North” and no other options exist under this menu. How do I define “West” or any direction other than north?

I'm missing something (I hope is not loading b2, if so I appologize :)
