I am trying to set up the ExText software and am having a problem with the Word 2003 settings. When I go under Tools>Options, Save option and try to disable Embed linguistic data and Embed smart tags, hit OK and exit Word, the disabled choices don't stay disabled. When I go back into Word, they are checked once again. The only way I can get ExText to open at all is if I disable those settings and leave the blank Word document up. Has anyone else had this problem?
Also in the same vein, once I get into the ExText program, I am unable to use control-N to close out one dictation and move on to the next. Any suggestions?
