Hello,

If you are closing out of the glossary completely, and it is reappearing, you may have it set as a default glossary in the link options for that particular application.

With IT and your other program open, click on the Link icon which is located just above the Active Glossary List and looks like a little "up-arrow". That will bring up the Recognized Applications window. With your program highlighted in the Recognized Applications window, click on "Link Options".

Here you will see under "Default glossary" if you have anything specified. A default glossary is not required so you can always just leave it blank.
