Nila,

In 3 days, I created a glossary with all the doctors' last names in the Word section, and the doctor's last and first names (which at times are stated in a report), along with their field of medicine behind it in parentheses in the phrase section.

Great idea! Isn't it wonderful to have the names at your fingertips without having to open documents or go to websites. You can use the Importer to convert a list of doctor names into a glossary if their names are listed in a text file.

If a doctor with a last name, let's say is totally foreign to me and I do not know the spelling, is 18 letters long, or if I just need to see if I have the correct doctor because their field of medicine is mentioned in the dictation, it is at my fingertips now. I also have the benefit of just typing a few letters and popping their names in.

One feature we want to add to the next version of Instant Text is a display form in the advisory that can be different from what the actual expansion is. This would fit your purpose to have the display of your doctors' field, and expand just their name.

Thank you so much to share your way of using Instant Text.

Marianne
