Nila,

I am finding that I may have too many entries (if that is possible).

Instant Text is virtually limitless. However, the more targeted your glossaries are, the faster you get to your words and phrases.

For example, if I type in tpdavoh (the patient denies any vomiting or hematemesis) - - it is found on the very bottom of the advisory list (#12) - - and I cannot expand it because it is too low on the advisory list. I have many entries for "the patient denies any" because my docs use this phrase a lot.

If you have 12 entries that all have the same "tpdavoh" short form, and the entry you want is on the bottom of the list, you can always move it to the top using the Glossary Viewer.

If they do not all share this same exact short form, the other way to bring them up is to type more letters of the short form. You can either type the whole short form "tpdavoh" or you can jump ahead by typing a few letters within the short form such as "tdavh"

Also, I read somewhere, either on this forum or on Productivity Talk forum, that using ; to move down the advisory list is advised over typing in the adjacent number

The semicolon is a marker key used to expand the phrases. If you want to move down the advisory list, the keyboard shortcut would be the Shift key. For more keyboard shortcuts, please see page 44 of the manual.

However, when I do this, and I hit ; more than 5 times I get a message that comes up about "StickKeys."

For instructions on how to turn the Sticky Keys on or off, please see the link below.

Kind regards,
Kristen
