Advisory Line Number

The first 8 glossaries listed in the Active Glossary List have a corresponding number that can be used as a keyboard shortcut to switch to that certain glossary. The keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+the number. So for example, if you wanted to quickly switch to the third glossary listed in your Active Glossary List, you would press Ctrl+3.

The keyboard shortcut for automatic capitalization is Ctrl+9 and for automatic spacing it is Ctrl+0. The numbered glossaries in the Active Glossary List stop after eight to avoid conflicting with the shortcut key assigned to automatic capitalization & spacing. Additionally, as the numeric portion of the keyboard stops at 9, a keyboard shortcut for any glossaries in the Active Glossary List that are in the 10th position or higher would not be possible.
