Sorry for the confusion--my follow-up question is the one I was . . .

referring to: I solved the "ini" problem by just customizing the settings on the new computer. My current problem is the "document statistics" option is grayed out. I doubled checked to make sure I am using version 5.44, which it does indicate. I am using the clipboad to get my line count but would really like it to work the other way if possible. I am using WordPerfect x4 and 32-bit Vista. Thank you for your help.
