I went ahead and customized the settings manually, but now . . .

the "document statistics" option is grayed out. I doubled checked to make sure I am using version 5.44, which it does indicate. I am using the clipboad to get my line count but would really like it to work the other way if possible. I am using WordPerfect x4 and 32-bit Vista. So far everything else seems to be working.
