XP, instant text , Meditech

I have been using IT Pro with Meditech. I bought a new computer that is XP and now cannot get IP to work in Meditech. It will work when I switch to MSword. Changing to the RTF and swiching back and forth is very time consuming and I would like to know if there is something I have to change in XP to get IT to work again in Meditech. IT comes up with meditech but will not allow me to type in the screen. I am assuming since it worked before changing to XP that the new operating system must be the problem. Please help! Yesterday I was below the required minutes per day for my job and cannot continue that or will also be looking for a new job!
