We are pleased to announce the availability of this new beta version of a Fitaly keyboard for the Tablet PC. This Fitaly version can be used also on Windows 2000 and Windows XP but it starts making sense if you can use a pen instead of the mouse.
Those of you who are familiar with the Pocket PC version will recognize the look. Emmanuel ported the current Pocket PC Fitaly to Windows and it has the same attributes, aside from the shortcuts. This keyboard uses a separate application called FitalyOptions to set (some of) the options. The new version takes advantage of the recent advances made on the Pocket PC version of Fitaly:

While it does not address all the suggestions made on this forum, it will already answer what is by far the most frequent request, namely to have a larger size. This new version measures 480x160 pixels and is therefore twice as wide as the current one, which you can see below at the same scale:

If you are not familiar with the Pocket PC Fitaly functions, see the description at http://www.textware.com/wince/pocketpcfitaly.htm
We'd like to hear your reactions about this. More generally, the purpose of this beta version is to get your reactions on how well it does on the Tablet PC, what you like, dislike, and what you would like to see in future versions. This version will work until June 30, 2005. As the prior version, this beta version can be freely distributed.
