Is it just me, or do methods like octave get a super big boost in a
rehearsed contest like this. What I'm interested in is real world speeds.
I'm a 40-50 wpm person in the real world and this contest brings my speed up to 65wpm cos I'm learning the tap order. A probable 40% boost over the REAL WORLD for me.
I kinda wonder at the amount of "artificial boost" guys using octave have. Would +100% be out of the question? I mean if you set it up right under octave, aren't you skipping the entering of 40 spaces etc?
Think REAL WORLD!
I can fly a jumbo on a computer sim, but I'm no airline pilot :)
